Face

Face
Face

A word with many connotations depending on the context in which its used. Not least in this little niche of ours within British youth culture past, present and future.

Face Covers

It was a given that a central requirement was always to show face and of course we're all familiar with certain individuals being recognisable 'faces'; both to those who were shoulder-to-shoulder with them and those who were toe-to-toe with them. A literal reference point of sorts within modern media was to come with the May 1980 launch of a new British music, fashion and culture monthly magazine - THE FACE. The magazine was influential in showcasing a number of fashion, music, and style trends of youth culture through the 80's and 90's. Indeed, it was so influentual that in 2011 The Face was added to the permanent collection of the Design Museum, London. One particularly memorable issue featured a band destined to very quickly become one of the era's most defining - The Stone Roses.

As our own little homage to this, we're pleased to give you the heads-up on a new and very limited advance piece from our imminent Heroes & Villains collection.

Face T

Our Original Casuals - 'The Face' White T-shirt launches 09/06/17... Featuring the front cover of the iconic 'Face' magazine of Ian Brown from 'The Stone Roses' as the messiah. The release of this t-shirt is to coincide with the forthcoming Stone Roses gigs all over the country and along with the t-shirt we will be giving away a 'Lemon' enamel pin badge and a Marcus Reed 'Unity is Strength' Bee Illustration sticker. To show our support to the fundraising efforts for the victims of the Manchester bombing on 22nd May we will also be making donations from every sale.

The full Heroes & Villains collection will be launching both online and in very select retail outlets in mid-July
