Nothing sums up the only summer sport worth a mention better than the classic Wimbledon final of 1980 between men’s Euro legend Bjorn Borg and US upstart John McEnroe. Not only because it was the first Grand Slam final meeting between the two but also because of the iconic sportswear that both men were sporting which were swiftly copied the length and breadth of the nations terraces.
